The Choice Hotels story
Choice Hotels is built on an idea so plain it is easy to underrate: a clean, fair-priced room, wherever the road takes you. Around 7,500 hotels across 47 countries run on that principle, and for a lot of travellers Choice is simply the name over the door of the Comfort Inn or Quality Inn they pull into after a long day of driving.
It has been doing this a long time, since a group of motel owners banded together in 1939, and that road-trip DNA still shows. The core is dependable and mid-priced: Comfort, Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Clarion, the places you book for a good, fair-priced night after a long drive.
Recently it reached higher. In 2022 Choice took on Radisson across the Americas, adding Radisson Blu, Cambria and a more design-minded, city-break flavour to a line-up that had always been about value. It gave the group a credible answer for the traveller who wants a little more than a highway room without leaving the family of brands.
One honest thing sets Choice apart on a page like this: it is not a sun company. There are no all-inclusive resorts here, no swim-up bars. Choice is the brand you want for getting around and getting a fair deal, and it is very good at exactly that. For a week on a beach you would look elsewhere, and that clarity is part of what makes it easy to trust.
