The Royalton story
Royalton is the rare big all-inclusive brand with genuinely Canadian roots. It grew up as the hotel arm of Sunwing, the company that flew a generation of travellers south for the winter, and even after a 2025 rebrand pulled everything under the single Royalton name, it still feels built for exactly that traveller: modern, easy, and made to be enjoyed.
You can see it in the resorts. Swim-out suites you can step straight into from your room, water features for the kids, contemporary rooms that photograph well, and a general sense that someone thought about what a package traveller actually wants. It reads young and current, and that has won it a devoted following.
It is also an easy brand to match to your group. Core Royalton resorts are family-friendly, while Royalton CHIC and Royalton Hideaway handle the adults-only crowd, one lively and social, the other calmer and more romantic. A premium Diamond Club level adds butler service and the best rooms for travellers who want to lift the whole experience a notch.
You will find Royalton right across the familiar sun map, Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Punta Cana, Montego Bay and Negril, and out through Saint Lucia and Antigua, and its resorts sit within Marriott's all-inclusive program through a distribution deal, though Marriott does not own them. Modern, home-grown and hard to fault for the money, it has become a winter regular for good reason.
